History

The organization started in conjunction with the Barbican Theatre for a period of about three years when the City of Plymouth began to introduce an overall waterfront tourism and business policy, community based, and covering all aspects of the area, whence it's name derived.

After that, our venue moved from place to place, when it was difficult to combine economy with access for the disabled.

We became known for our performances in theatre, street festivals, at readings in libraries and for various other community support activities. We have so far printed three anthologies.
